A proactive app built with Kotlin designed to tackle digital distractions by smartly alerting users of their mindless scrolling and actions.
Try out on Play Store{The Problem}
In today's digital age, distractions are everywhere. People often find themselves mindlessly opening apps, scrolling through feeds, and losing track of time. The core problem "Don't Look" addresses is the lack of conscious awareness surrounding our digital habits.
Instead of completely blocking apps, which can be easily bypassed or frustrating, "Don't Look" aims to cultivate mindfulness. By gently alerting users about their actions in real-time, the app encourages them to pause and reflect on whether they truly want to engage with a particular application at that moment.
{User Flow}
The user flow was designed to be as frictionless as possible while effectively delivering the intervention. It focuses on easy onboarding, selecting target apps, and setting up the alert mechanisms that intercept the user before they fall into a distraction trap.
{Final Interface}
Developed natively using Kotlin, the app features a clean and straightforward UI. The design language avoids being overly distractive itself, utilizing calm colors and clear typography to help users maintain focus and seamlessly manage their intervention settings.
